My Story

I was a curious little girl once. Full of questions, full of wonder, and completely convinced the world was a safe and generous place.

Then life happened. The way it does. Quietly, and all at once.

What followed was the kind of growing up that does not come with a manual. Navigating a world that had shifted, in a culture that had its own ideas about what a girl’s life should look like, with support that came wrapped in its own complications. I learned early that the steadiest ground I had was inside me.

So I built on that.

Curiosity became my compass. Books became my teachers, not for entertainment but for understanding. Diverse subjects across different genres, different perspectives I could get my hands on. I painted when words were not enough. I traveled not to escape but to expand – to stand in unfamiliar places, absorb histories that were not mine, and come home seeing things differently.

That same curiosity carried me across continents and into rooms where I was often the last person expected to make anything out of life. I earned my place everywhere I go. Not because it was handed to me, but because I showed up, did the work, and refused to let anyone else’s limitations become mine.

Along the way, I developed a simple philosophy. Lead with purpose. Show up with empathy. And never do to others what you would not want done to you. Not as a rule. As a way of being.

And here I am, still learning, still creating, still exploring, still figuring parts of it out. But everything I walked through shaped how I show up for others – as a human being, as a colleague, as a leader. That part I would not change.
